Affiliates & corporate partners. ZAI discloses the categories of personal information described above between and among its affiliates and related entities.

Service providers & business partners. ZAI may disclose the categories of personal information described above with service providers and business partners for a variety of business purposes, including website and data hosting, ensuring compliance with industry standards, research, auditing, and data processing.

ZAI may also disclose personal information in the following circumstances:

As part of a significant corporate event. If ZAI is involved in a merger, corporate transaction, bankruptcy, or other situation involving the transfer of business assets, ZAI will disclose your personal information as part of these corporate transactions.

To comply with regulatory or legal requirements, safety and terms enforcement. If we link to a site or service via our Services, you should read their data usage policies or other documentation. Our linking to another site or service doesn’t mean we endorse it or speak for that third party.

Rights and Choices

Deletion. You may have the right to request that we delete personal information collected from you and retained, subject to certain exceptions.

Correction. You may have the right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information ZAI retains about you, subject to certain exceptions.

Objection. You may have a right to object to some processing activities.

Withdrawal of consent. Where ZAI’s processing of your personal data is based on consent, you may have the right to withdraw your consent.

Sale & targeted advertising. ZAI does not “sell” your personal information as that term is defined by applicable laws and regulations. ZAI also does not engage in targeted advertising using your personal information. We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share information of consumers between the ages of 13 and 16.

Do Not Track. Some web browsers provide a “Do Not Track” option. We currently do not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

To exercise your access, portability, deletion, or correction rights, you or an authorized agent may submit a request by emailing us at [email protected]. After we receive your request, we may verify it by requesting information sufficient to confirm your identity. You may also have the right to appeal requests that we deny by emailing [email protected].

Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Services may involve integrations with, or may direct you to, websites, apps, and services managed by third parties. By interacting with these third parties, you acknowledge that you are providing information directly to the third party and not ZAI and subject to the third party’s privacy policy. For example, if you use the Services to apply for employment, this could involve an integration with a third party product, subject to that third-party product’s privacy policy.

6.1 Youtube

We use videos from YouTube and YouTube plug-ins on our website. YouTube is a service of YouTube LLC (“YouTube”), 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA and is provided by them. YouTube LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc. ('Google'), 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

YouTube is integrated by embedding the service on our website using a so-called “iFrame”. When loading this iFrame, YouTube or Google may collect information (including personal data) and process it. It cannot be ruled out that YouTube or Google also transmits the information to a server in a third country.

We ourselves do not collect any data when you watch a YouTube video with us.

By integrating YouTube, our purpose is to be able to present you various videos on our website so that you can watch them directly on our website.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. Paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest required for this lies in the great benefit that YouTube offers. By integrating external videos, we reduce the load on our servers and can use the corresponding resources for other purposes. This can, among other things, increase the stability of our servers. We use the eBay Partner Network (“eBay”) on our website. eBay is an affiliate marketing network. The operator of the eBay Partner Network is eBay Partner Network Inc. 2145 Hamilton Ave., San Jose, CA 95125, USA.

Registered partners (“publishers”) can advertise products on their website for various advertisers via eBay. For this purpose, various advertising measures such as data, images, texts, links, widgets, link formats and other linking tools or information may be made available by eBay. The aim of eBay's partners is for end users to use the advertising to reach the advertiser's offer page and place an order. For such an order, the partners receive a commission or a bonus.

We are registered with eBay as a “partner” and therefore provide advertising space (through links) on our website to “advertisers”.

After clicking on the links that lead to the offers on external websites, an eBay cookie is stored on your system, which contains, among other things, an ID that enables an assignment for eBay. In this way, it is possible for eBay to recognize that you became aware of the offer via our website and have accessed the website. Data Retention

ZAI retains your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes and criteria outlined in this Privacy Policy, except that we delete information you instruct us to delete in accordance with Section 5 above. For Services, other than the ZAI API, we may retain Prompts and Results as needed to provide the Service. As an example, if a Service allows you to save and continue conversations, we retain the Prompts and Results in order to provide you with a consistent product experience over time.

When assessing how long your personal information is retained, we consider criteria such as: (i) the nature of the personal information and the activities involved; (ii) when and for how long you interact with ZAI; and (iii) our legitimate interests and our legal obligations.
