Third-Party Websites and Services

Our Services may involve integrations with, or may direct you to, websites, apps, and services managed by third parties. By interacting with these third parties, you acknowledge that you are providing information directly to the third party and not ZAI and subject to the third party’s privacy policy. 6.1 Youtube

We use videos from YouTube and YouTube plug-ins on our website. YouTube is a service of YouTube LLC (“YouTube”), 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA and is provided by them. YouTube LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc. ('Google'), 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

YouTube is integrated by embedding the service on our website using a so-called “iFrame”. When loading this iFrame, YouTube or Google may collect information (including personal data) and process it. It cannot be ruled out that YouTube or Google also transmits the information to a server in a third country.

Information about Google's existing Privacy Shield certification and other relevant data on data processing by Google when using Google services can be found in this data protection declaration under section "5) Information about Google services".

We ourselves do not collect any data when you watch a YouTube video with us.

By integrating YouTube, our purpose is to be able to present you various videos on our website so that you can watch them directly on our website.

The legal basis for the processing of personal data described here is Art. Paragraph 1 lit. f) GDPR. The legitimate interest required for this lies in the great benefit that YouTube offers. By integrating external videos, we reduce the load on our servers and can use the corresponding resources for other purposes. This can, among other things, increase the stability of our servers. YouTube or Google also has a legitimate interest in the (personal) data collected in order to improve their own services.

The provision of personal data is neither required by law nor contractually and is not necessary for the conclusion of a contract. You are also not obliged to provide the personal data. However, failure to provide it may result in you not being able to use our website or not being able to use it to its full extent.

Further information can be found in the privacy policy of YouTube and Google, which you can access here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

6.2 Ebay Partner Network

We use the eBay Partner Network (“eBay”) on our website. eBay is an affiliate marketing network. The operator of the eBay Partner Network is eBay Partner Network Inc. 2145 Hamilton Ave., San Jose, CA 95125, USA.

Registered partners (“publishers”) can advertise products on their website for various advertisers via eBay. For this purpose, various advertising measures such as data, images, texts, links, widgets, link formats and other linking tools or information may be made available by eBay. The aim of eBay's partners is for end users to use the advertising to reach the advertiser's offer page and place an order. For such an order, the partners receive a commission or a bonus.

We are registered with eBay as a “partner” and therefore provide advertising space (through links) on our website to “advertisers”.

After clicking on the links that lead to the offers on external websites, an eBay cookie is stored on your system, which contains, among other things, an ID that enables an assignment for eBay. In this way, it is possible for eBay to recognize that you became aware of the offer via our website and have accessed the website. Any purchase of the product can also be tracked and assigned to our affiliate ID.

Further information can also be found at https://partnernetwork.ebay.de/affiliate-tracking

The purpose of processing the data is to track the various successes (transaction, lead, sale) and to be able to process commission payments.

The legal basis for the processing of data described here is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. We have an economic interest in having our successes recorded by eBay, as this is how we finance our offering.

Further information on the use of data by the eBay Partner Network can be found here: https://partnernetwork.ebay.de/legal#privacy-policy

The legal basis for the processing of data described here is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. There is an economic interest in having our successes recorded by the eBay Partner Network, as this is how we finance our offering.

The data is only stored for as long as is necessary to provide the function.

We do not combine data from the affiliate network with our user data or other data we have. We cannot assign an affiliate ID to any individual and have no interest in doing so. We never profile you.

We use the Amazon affiliate program on our website. The Amazon affiliate program is a network for affiliate marketing. The operators of the Amazon partner program are Amazon Europe Core S.à.r.l., Amazon EU S.à.r.l, Amazon Services Europe S.à.r.l. and Amazon Media EU S.à.r.l., all four located at 5, Rue Plaetis, L-2338 Luxembourg, as well as Amazon Instant Video Germany GmbH, Domagkstr. 28, 80807 Munich. The data processor on your behalf is Amazon Deutschland Services GmbH, Marcel-Breuer-Str. 12, 80807 Munich.

Registered participants can advertise products on their website via the Amazon affiliate program. For this purpose, various advertising measures such as data, images, texts, links, widgets, link formats and other linking tools or information can be made available by the partner program. The goal of participants in the Amazon affiliate program is for end users to place a “qualified order” on Amazon through advertising. For such an order, participants will receive a reimbursement of advertising costs.

We are registered as participants in the Amazon partner program.

After clicking on the links that lead to the offers on external websites, an Amazon cookie is stored on your system, which contains, among other things, an ID that enables assignment for Amazon. In this way, it is possible for Amazon to recognize that you became aware of the offer via our website and have accessed the website. Any purchase of the product can also be tracked and assigned to our affiliate ID. Amazon can recognize your device based on this ID and, for example, show you personalized advertising.

Data Retention

ZAI retains your personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes and criteria outlined in this Privacy Policy, except that we delete information you instruct us to delete in accordance with Section 5 above. For Services, other than the ZAI API, we may retain Prompts and Results as needed to provide the Service. As an example, if a Service allows you to save and continue conversations, we retain the Prompts and Results in order to provide you with a consistent product experience over time.

When assessing how long your personal information is retained, we consider criteria such as: (i) the nature of the personal information and the activities involved; (ii) when and for how long you interact with ZAI; and (iii) our legitimate interests and our legal obligations. In all cases, we may retain Prompts and Results as required by law or as necessary to combat violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
